Pinnacle Sports in Medina is proud to offer this Four-Day Player Camp in July. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn and enhance soccer skills from master teachers. This camp is for players between the ages of 8 and 18 that are serious about improving their soccer skills. A number of “SPECIAL GUEST” coaches, including current college coaches and ex-professional soccer players, will spend some time coaching and teaching during the camp.

This camp is high intensity, structured and organized to focus on skills and concepts including the following:

Ball Handling/footskills: Skills and drills for self-improvement as well as “moves” to create space and breakdown a defender. Technical footskills and competency to keep the ball under control.

Passing Skills: Breakdown of the mechanics with detail passing instruction. Receiving and first touch into space. 1 touch passing and moving. Combinations to beat a player; wall pass, dummy, checking and popping etc.

Finishing skills: Technical shooting/finishing instructions encompassing side foot and instep shooting. 1 vs 1 with the goalkeeper, striking from distance, volleys, creating space to shoot, playing with back to goal and more.

Defensive Play: Breakdown and instruction on proper body position to maximize efficiency on defense. Making play predictable, forcing the play, pressure, cover and balance. Stepping across an attacker.

Fitness, Speed & Agility: Players will spend time with our speed and strength coach, Ryan Hart, during the camp and work and develop an understanding of what it takes to get stronger and faster and most importantly, staying injury free!

Game play: Each day of camp will end with scrimmages and game play so that players can implement there new and developing skills in a live game environment.
