Pinnacle Sports runs classes, camps, clinics, leagues and tournaments for youth and adult athletes year-round at our Medina facility. Our staff are the reason families keep coming back, and we are almost always looking to fill a few seasonal roles.

Summer

Summer Camp Counselor

June to August · Daytime hours

Lead small groups of campers through games, sports stations and daily activities at our summer day camps. You keep the day moving, keep campers safe, and make camp the part of the summer they talk about all year.

Good fit forHigh school and college students, teachers on summer break, and anyone who would rather be on their feet than at a desk.

Manager on Duty

Run the building during program hours. Open and close the facility, greet families at the front desk, keep leagues and rentals on schedule, cover the concession stand, and handle whatever comes up on a busy night.

Sports Coach

Coach classes, clinics, camps and league teams. Soccer is our most frequent need, and we also run baseball, softball, volleyball, lacrosse and field hockey programming. We do not run year-round in-house programming in every sport, but we are always glad to hear from experienced coaches.

Good fit forPlaying or coaching experience helps. Being able to teach a skill and keep a session fun matters more.

Host birthday parties start to finish. Welcome the family, keep the timeline moving between activities and food, run the games, and reset the room for the next group. You are the reason the day feels easy for the parents.

Summer Camp Counselor

Reports to the Pinnacle Sports General Manager

General responsibilities

Provide a safe, engaging and memorable camp experience for children by supervising daily activities, encouraging participation, and creating a positive environment where every camper feels included.

What you would be doing

  • Build relationships. Welcome campers each day and create a fun, inclusive and encouraging environment.
  • Supervise campers. Keep campers safe, engaged and accounted for throughout the day.
  • Lead activities. Organize and assist with sports, games, crafts and other recreational activities appropriate for each age group.
  • Encourage participation. Motivate campers to try new activities while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship and respect.
  • Safety first. Enforce camp rules and respond appropriately to accidents or behavioral situations.
  • Communicate professionally. Interact positively with parents at drop-off and pick-up, and pass along anything important to supervisors.

Manager on Duty

Reports to the Pinnacle Sports General Manager

Oversee the daily operations of Pinnacle Sports, ensuring a top-notch experience for customers, staff and visitors. This includes working with other staff members, managing scheduling, facility upkeep, customer interactions and overall program success.

What you would be doing

  • Be the first point of contact. Greet customers with a warm welcome and a smile, ensuring a positive experience as they enter and exit.
  • Professional communication. Answer phone calls in a friendly and professional manner, providing helpful and accurate information.
  • Know our programs. Stay informed about all Pinnacle Sports offerings so you can confidently answer questions and assist customers.
  • Master the tools. Learn and efficiently use the DASH software system for registrations, scheduling and facility management.
  • Keep it clean and inviting. Ensure all program areas, lobbies, party rooms, restrooms, bleachers and concession areas are clean and ready for use.
  • Set up for success. Coordinate the setup and breakdown of fields, batting cages, meeting rooms and event spaces as needed.
  • Marketing support. Keep program flyers stocked and distributed to families to promote upcoming events and offerings.
  • Problem-solver. Quickly and efficiently troubleshoot any issues that arise throughout the facility.
  • Facility management. Follow proper opening and closing procedures, including walkthroughs to ensure the facility is prepped and ready for the next session.
  • Represent Pinnacle Sports. Maintain a professional, friendly and helpful attitude, creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Sports Coach / Instructor

Reports to the Pinnacle Sports General Manager

General responsibilities

Lead engaging sports classes, clinics, camps and instructional programs while helping athletes develop fundamental skills, confidence, teamwork and a lifelong love of sports. We do not run year-round in-house programming in every sport, but we are always seeking passionate, experienced coaches and will keep your application on file for the sports you list.

  • Set up and clean up. Prepare party rooms before each event, then thoroughly clean and reset spaces afterwards.
  • Customer service. Respond promptly and professionally to parent requests while making sure the birthday child has a memorable experience.
  • Safety first. Monitor participants throughout the party and enforce facility safety guidelines.

Sports Operations Intern

Reports to the Pinnacle Sports General Manager

General responsibilities

Work alongside our management team and get knee-deep in the day-to-day operation of a busy sports facility. Interns are exposed to a wide range of the business rather than one narrow task: daily operations, programming, events, customer service, facility management and administrative projects. Both paid and unpaid internships are available depending on the candidate and any school credit requirements.

Desired qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a sport management, business, marketing, recreation or related program.
  • Curious, dependable and willing to jump into whatever the day requires.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable talking with customers, families and staff.
  • Organized self-starter who can carry several projects at once.
  • Interested in learning the business side of running a sports facility, not just the sports side.

What you would be doing

  • Learn the operation. Shadow and assist Managers on Duty with opening, closing and running the building during program hours.
  • Support programming. Help plan, set up and run classes, clinics, camps, leagues and tournaments.
  • Event support. Assist with tournaments, parties and special events from setup through breakdown.
  • Customer service. Greet families, answer phones and help customers with registrations and questions.
  • Master the tools. Learn the DASH software system for registrations, scheduling and facility management.
  • Administrative projects. Take on real projects across scheduling, marketing, social media, reporting and program planning.
  • Facility management. Assist with setup, breakdown, upkeep and walkthroughs so spaces are ready for the next session.
  • Bring ideas. Share what you are learning in the classroom and help us improve how we do things.
