This class is an introduction to the game of volleyball. The focus for these sessions is to create a solid foundation of volleyball skills. We will cover passing, setting, hitting, serving, and a general understanding of how to play the game. The most important aspect of development at this age is proper technique and each player getting as many repetitions as possible. This class is perfect for boys and girls ages 8 to 10 who have an interest in volleyball but have had limited experience playing the sport.

This class is designed for ages 11-13 who have some experience playing volleyball. Athletes who are currently in or have completed Fundamentals 1 are good candidates to enroll in the new Fundamentals 2 class. The focus of this class will be attacking, passing, setting, serving, and game scenarios. Attacking topics include approach, hand-to-ball contact, and jump mechanics. Passing will focus on platform and passing angles. Setting drills will emphasize both hand and footwork as well as location and cues. Serving will concentrate on proper position, how to create power, and improving serving mechanics.

Monday
Volley Tots will focus on early FUNdamental training and individual skills for BOYS & GIRLS ages 3-5. Our coaches will break down the game of volleyball through fun and engaging drills and games using large volleyballs, balloons, hula hoops and more. Players will increase volleyball specific agility, hand-eye coordination, and engage in peer activities.

Volley Juniors will focus on introduction to the foundations and mechanics of volleyball. for BOYS & GIRLS ages 6-9. Each week players will be introduced to volleyball techniques and skills through engaging drills, fun games, and various speed and agility training. Volley Juniors is a program designed to provide an environment where players can build confidence while learning the game of volleyball.

Our facility offers a dynamic range of youth and adult programs, some are only seasonal while others occur year-round. Our sessions, ranging from 4 to 12 weeks in length, bring an energetic vibe to each season. We host indoor soccer, baseball, softball and volleyball in the winter months, a variety of class and camp offerings in the summer, plus a mix of all sports in spring and fall. Come join us!

We do not offer pro-rated classes or trial runs. However, at Pinnacle Sports, we understand that finding the perfect fit is important for your child. If a class isn’t suitable, we’re more than happy to assist in moving your child to a different class. Additionally, to ensure your child’s continued enjoyment with Pinnacle programming, we provide a pro-rated credit. This credit can be applied to any future Pinnacle offerings, including classes, camps, and birthday parties. Our goal is to make every experience with us enjoyable and tailored to your child’s preferences.
