This class is designed for ages 10-14 who have some experience playing volleyball. Athletes who are currently in or have completed Fundamentals 1 are good candidates to enroll in the new Fundamentals 2 class. The focus of this class will be attacking, passing, setting, serving, and game scenarios. Attacking topics include approach, hand-to-ball contact, and jump mechanics. Passing will focus on platform and passing angles. Setting drills will emphasize both hand and footwork as well as location and cues. Serving will concentrate on proper position, how to create power, and improving serving mechanics.
